National Library Week Teen Program: Silent Library

Calling all Mayville Teens! We will be hosting a special teen program to celebrate National Library Week. Silent Library is a game inspired by the hilarious game show in the early 2000s. Similar to Minute To Win It, teens will participate in wacky challenges. The catch is you must be completely silent, or else your team will lose points.

Container Gardening with Carol Shirk

Everyone likes to have some color at the doorstep or on the deck. Dodge County Certified Master Gardener Carol Shirk will guide you in making the perfect container garden. But, did you know that containers are not just for flowers? This presentation will give you the knowledge needed, followed by a visual demonstration of a container being filled and made beautiful. One lucky winner will be able to take the filled container home.

Carol Shirk has gardened pretty much all of her life and has been a Master Gardener for over 25 years. She enjoys helping others learn about the joy of gardening, whether it be growing vegetables, learning how to compost, making beautiful container gardens, identifying pests, or preventing wildlife from encroaching on much-loved landscaping.
