Family Fill Ornaments

Christmas ornament craft on December 20th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Kids of all ages and families are welcome to come and make a special fill ornament to remember the 2022 holiday season. Registration is encouraged but not required.

It’s A Wonderful Life!

Come see us this Saturday, December 3rd from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the It’s Wonderful Life event! There will be fun events all over Main St. Here at the Library we’ll have elf storytime, crafts, a family picture spot, book bingo, and more! Stop in for an itinerary of our events and to see when the storytimes will be.

Bead Series – Part 2 of 3 – Earrings

Join us for the second part of our three-part bead series.
Tuesday, November 8 at 6:30 pm make a pair of aromatherapy earrings.
Use lava beads and other beads of choice to design your own aromatherapy earrings. Essential oils will be available for use during the program to give your earrings an aromatic start.
Ages 8 to adult are welcome to attend.
Part 3 – December 13 will be a necklace.

November Homeschool Hangout

Come meet other homeschooling families in the area, play games, chat, and share ideas for future hangouts. Games and snacks will be provided. Starry Night on the Marsh

Mark your calendars! Starry Night on the Marsh is coming Friday, September 9th starting at 6 pm. Make sure to stay for the telescope viewing!

This family-friendly event, which focuses on nocturnal animals and astronomy, starts promptly at 6:00, and it promises a full schedule of fun activities, interesting presentations, and hands-on experience opportunities. DNR staff at Horicon Marsh, Friends of Horicon Marsh volunteers and seven Dodge County libraries will provide a wide array of activities and crafts.
Activities include an owl pellet dissection, trivia games, constellation crafts, star-parachute games and more! The Marsh will give a presentation on nocturnal animals at 6:30, and members of the Northern Cross Science Foundation will discuss telescopes and the night sky at 7:15. Starting at 8:00, members of the Northern Cross Science Foundation will share telescopes for public viewing of the night sky (weather permitting). Bake sale items and snacks will be available as well.
Don’t miss this fun and educational event! Participating libraries include libraries from the following communities: Beaver Dam, Brownsville, Horicon, Hustisford, Juneau, Lomira, and Mayville.
