Author Chad Lewis will be speaking at the Mayville Public Library on Monday October 21st 6:30 p.m. This is a free program that is open to the public!
This presentation takes the audience on a ghostly journey to some of the most haunted places in Wisconsin. It covers the entire state of WI from Wandering Ghosts in the North Woods to the Haunted B&B in Milwaukee. From phantom creatures prowling the woods to graveyard apparitions located in your own backyard, no place in WI is without its own haunting.
Complete with photos, case history, eyewitness accounts, ghost lore, and directions, this unique presentation encourages you to visit these places for your own ghost story.

Speaker Bio: For nearly two decades Chad Lewis has traveled the back roads of the world in search of the strange and unusual. From tracking vampires in Transylvania and searching for the elusive monster of Loch Ness to trailing the dangerous Tata Duende through remote villages of Belize and searching for ghosts in Ireland’s haunted castles, Chad has scoured the earth in search of the paranormal.
Chad has been featured on the Discovery Channel’s A Haunting, William Shatner’s Weird or What, ABC’s Scariest Places on Earth, along with being a frequent contributor on Ripley’s Believe it or Not Radio. With a Masters Degree in Psychology, Chad has authored over 15 books on the supernatural, and extensively lectures on his fascinating findings. These teddy bears and stuffed animals had a great time last night at the teddy bear (and stuffed animal) sleep over at the library! In fact, some of them are still sleeping! Stop in and see what they did!
National Library Card Sign Up Month was a great success! Thank you to everyone that participated and supported the library! The raffle winners for the book bag were:

Your teddy bear (or other stuffed animal) is invited to sleep over at the library on October 9th. Bring in your stuffed friend at 6:00 p.m. to make a craft and introduce to the other stuffed animals!
‘Booking’ your teddy bear is required so we have enough materials for all of our stuffed friends. Registration forms are available at the circulation desk. Please make sure that children will be able to leave the stuffed animal for the night! Teddy bears (or other stuffed animals) can be picked up on Thursday after 10:30 a.m. when the library will re-open. Only one stuffed friend per child, please.
Hopefully they will behave for the night here at the library!
