To celebrate the Mayville Public Library’s 114th birthday, we will be having a Library Open House on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 . Please stop in for a look around! We will have cake, basket raffle drawings, information about the new library, and more. We will also introduce our new children’s computer. We hope to see you there!
We are excited to announce that preschool story time started on October 3! There are2 sessions every Wednesday. One is in the morning from 10:30 to 11:15 and one is in the evening from 6:30 to 7:15. Each session includes stories, songs and a craft project. Children ages 3 to 6 are invited to participate. Please call (920/387-7910) or visit the library to sign up! There will be no story time on October 17, November 21 and there will be no morning session of story time on December 12.
Stop in at the library and get your card! It’s FREE! Bring in a photo id and something with your name and current address printed on it. If your photo id has your current address on it that will work. Otherwise we need to see the photo id (Driver’s License, State ID, etc) and something else with your name and current address on it (bill, lease, bank statement, etc). It’s easy! Your child can get a library card too as long as they are age 6 or have completed kindergarten. We will need a registration card filled out for each person getting a library card.
