Summer Reading 2018 is ready to begin. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock”. Stop at the library on or after June 4 to pick up a reading log. Keep track of your reading each week and then bring your log to the library (starting June 18) to receive a prize. We are also kicking off summer reading with a Library Fun Day on Wednesday, June 20 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. There will be face painting, ice cream by A-OK 4H, crafts, legos, and a STEM project. Stop by that night for the fun!
The Friends of Mayville Public Library have rescheduled the polka dance for Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at the Mayville Park Pavilion. Once again, it’s timed for 1:00-5:00 p.m. $10 for adults and $5 for students under 18-years-old. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle will also take place. Tell your friends! Bring the family! Put it on your calendar! Eddie Larsen and the Classic Memories Variety Dance Band plays a variety of tunes, including Swing, Big Band, Country and of course, Polka.
