Mayville Public Library has now added the ability to download eaudiobooks through RBdigital, an online service for downloading digital media for FREE using your Mayville library card. Prior to adding eaudiobooks, library patrons could and still can download emagazines from RBdigital. With this service, patrons enjoy free access to audiobooks and emagazines at home, in the library, or on the go. RBdigital is compatible with all popular listening devices, and mobile apps are available for IOS, Android, and Kindle Fire devices.
To create a RBdigital account
- Go to : https://monarchwi.rbdigital.com/
- Click on Register
- Enter a username, password (must be at least 7 characters and include letters and numbers) library card number, first name, last name, email, zip code, and library (select Mayville Public Library) from the list.
- Click on Register. You will see a page showing where you can get help, FAQS, and RB digital apps that you can download for your specific device.
We will be discussing using Ancestry.com DNA results in your family research.
The March adult book club discussion will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 6:30 pm. The book club selection is “An American Marriage” by Tayari Jones. Copies of the book can be picked up on the book club shelf or at the library circulation desk. We usually have regular print, large print and audio book formats available. Stop in at the library and get your card! It’s FREE! Bring in a photo id and something with your name and current address printed on it. If your photo id has your current address on it that will work. Otherwise we need to see the photo id (Driver’s License, State ID, etc) and something else with your name and current address on it (bill, lease, bank statement, etc). It’s easy! Your child can get a library card too as long as they are age 6 or have completed kindergarten. We will need a registration card filled out for each person getting a library card.
Mayville Public Library, in partnership with Recorded Books (Prince Frederick, MD), now offers the digital-magazine service RBdigital.
RBdigital features full-color, digital magazines for instant desktop reading, mobile streaming, and mobile-app download. With this service, patrons can add new and back issues to personal reading libraries with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limits to the number of magazines checked out and downloaded. And with personal notifications for favorite magazines, patrons never miss an issue.
